Vintage linens have most often had years of use, with washing, starching and ironing. Even unused vintage linens can be soiled. When handling and photographing these fine old pieces it is not always easy to see "ghost stains"; sometimes you see them and sometimes you don’t. Please keep this in mind when bidding.

Unless otherwise indicated, all linens offered are hand washed, air dried, and pressed using a light spray of distilled water. Please know that I do not use harsh chemicals when cleaning my vintage linens. If I repair an item I will give details of the repair. If a linen has any stains or tears, etc. that I can not remove or repair I will describe the damage. If the damage is significant, I will post a picture of the damage.
